Mohican™ Harness the Power and Exceed All Expectat ions Mohican was specifically developed to cope with the fast moving and unpredictable turbid waters of the southern North Sea. The ‘dynamic vector’ feature enables the operator to adjust thruster angles on the fly for agile manoeuvring and the 3000v 400Hz power system is particularly suited to long tether excursions and deep liveboating operations. The subCAN control system provides advanced diagnostics, precise vehicle control and reduced reactive maintenance. Thus, the benefit of increased dive time, reduced vessel standby and operating costs.
Fully electric Super Mohawk is an excellent general purpose ROV system suitable for observation, survey, pipelay support, light to medium work and NDT inspections. It can carry out many of the tasks. An abundance of space, the rigid open-frame design and the generous payload capability provide a versatile solution for the fitting of manipulators, additional equipment and sensors. Two angled vertical thrusters allow an unhindered lower deck area for placement of equipment and attachment of tooling skids. Super-Mohawk provides high quality video for inspection work but also has the capabilities for running underslung tool packages such as tree valve torque tools, high pressure water jetting pumps and small hydraulic or electric manipulators.
ELSS POD, A system that provides the transportation of medical, technical and food materials that the personnel will need on a submarine in distress. The ELSS pod is designed to have a nominal negative buoyancy of 10 kg in sea water, which allows it to be delivered to the submarine by a swimmer, Atmospheric Diving Suit (ADS), Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) or Rescue Diver himself. Each ELSS container consists of a cylindrical pressure vessel with a removable end cap equipped with a lifting handle. The load of the container can be changed using a combination of ballast weights that keep the weight of the container in the water constant.
ELSS Pod Capture System (Nets) The FET Perry® Emergency Life Support Stores (ELSS) container Capture System is individually designed to suit the escape tower / escape hatches of navy submarines throughout the world. The Capture System allows the safe receipt of ELSS pods by a distressed submarine (DISSUB). In the event that a submarine becomes stranded on the seabed, ELSS containers are posted into the submarine’s hatches, by a diver or ROV (remotely operated vehicle) to deliver life preserving stores to the crew until a full rescue can be mounted. The Capture System is comprised of four main components.
VisualSoft is a market leading provider of Digital Video and Data Acquisition and processing systems for survey and inspection of underwater assets. We were the first company to introduce Digital Video into the offshore oil and gas industry and have led the way in the introduction of new digital video formats into the subsea market allowing our customers to take advantage of the best available video quality for the least amount of data overhead. The VisualSoft Suite provides multichannel video and data acquisition functionality which is time synchronized to allow simultaneous review of video and data for any logged event, position, component or time, quickly and efficiently.
Vmax Project simulator is an all-encompassing simulation solution for the offshore industry, used to develop various simulation applications. Providing a standard functionality for any ROV equipment, VMAX allows accurate simulation of the equipment in a subsea environment and has been used by operators, service companies, and engineering firms to run simulations of complex situations. ROV operators validate engineering designs with procedures for on-site rehearsal and instant feedback, prior to Systems Testing. VMAX ROV Simulator is provided with a library of standard training scenarios, each designed to train and evaluate ROV pilots in basic and complex skills such as tether management, access evaluation, and manipulator control.
